My name is Sandy Hall and I am a graphic designer by trade, who somehow wandered into jewelry making. Everyone warned
me how addictive it is, but being independent (stubborn) I plunged right in! Needless to say, they were right. I became hopelessly
addicted and needed more, more, more! So on I traveled to far lands taking any jewelry making class that would have me! I
learned every stitch, weave, twist, wrap, fuse, torch, and string technique I could get my hands on (and a few I’ve
made up myself). I love it all! That’s why I call myself a mixed media artist. I make jewelry out of anything I can
get my hands on. But I always seemed to get drawn back to wire & metal. Just something about the way it can go from elegant
to rugged to delicate & dramatic all at the same time. Also, I love color, I am always influenced by the effect that color
can have on one’s sense of self and well-being
That is why I meticulously handcraft each and every piece of jewelry
I make. By hand-selecting each form of matter and color, that I put into one of my creations, I try and create a long-lasting
thing of beauty. As, I think you will see in my work.
I derive great pleasure creating items that others find beautiful,
wearble and that they ultimately come to treasure. To know something that I created has spoken to another on some level
provides such spiritual delight.
Peace & Bead Well,
Sandy Hall
