OK!  I lost 7.8 pounds since our weigh in on Sunday morning at the Dawn to Dusk Bead Bash.  What I find most helpful is the President's Challenge.  I've made it my goal to earn the President's Award for Fitness which is exercising 30 min. a day, 5 days a week, for 6 weeks.  I just completed my first week tonight.  Twice I didn't exercise during the day, but I didn't want to have a day with nothing to log into the President's Challenge.  So I danced my little heart out at 11pm just so I could log it in.  Besides, it really made me sleep well.

The other thing is cutting back on what I'm eating.  We started measuring our food.  We are looking at the American Diabetes Association's recommendation since we both had high blood sugar and Richard Simmons' diet.  But I have to tell you, we certainly don't have the eating thing down yet.  I know it will take a while.  Oh...  and we are trying to drink our 8 glasses of water a day.

On a side note?  Ralph has lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks.  He's feeling mighty good about himself.

OK.  Who's next?
